Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of Maricopa County Court Docket. Reading a page or submitting a sponsored search means the user accepts them. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. Maricopa County Court Docket is privately operated and has no affiliation with an Arizona court, clerk, county, city, state, or federal agency. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides a consumer report for credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance, or another Fair Credit Reporting Act purpose. The site is not a private investigation service or a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent from all courts and government offices. It does not store official case files, operate a docket system, submit filings, retrieve protected records, or change a court date.

Its content points to the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County, the Clerk of the Superior Court, Justice and Municipal Courts, Arizona Judicial Branch systems, and separate third-party services.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is supplied for general reference. It cannot replace an official Maricopa County docket, a signed court order, a filed-stamped document, or advice from a licensed lawyer. Any material fact should be confirmed with the court or clerk responsible for the original record.

3. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Interfere with access for other visitors
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the pages
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm another person
  • Use site content for a credit, employment, housing, or insurance decision
  • Violate federal, Arizona, county, city, or other applicable law

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Maricopa County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not prepare credit reports, background reports, or consumer reports. Information from this site or a linked tool must not be used to:

  • Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
  • Make an employment decision
  • Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
  • Set credit or insurance terms
  • Serve any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A consumer report for a regulated purpose must come from an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

No content is legal advice. Only a licensed Arizona attorney can advise how a deadline, filing, charge, judgment, or court order affects a specific matter.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

The site and its content are provided "as is." No promise is made that:

  • A partner result will be complete or correctly matched
  • Every page will remain free of bugs or security issues
  • Service will be continuous or uninterrupted
  • Information will always be complete, accurate, or current

Maricopa dockets change as cases are filed, hearings move, orders issue, and records are amended, dismissed, or sealed. A page or linked result is not an official statement by the Clerk of the Superior Court or any Arizona court. Verify a setting and docket entry with the court that maintains the case.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to court, clerk, city, county, state, legal-aid, or outside search services. Those destinations control their own content, availability, fees, privacy practices, and terms. We are not responsible for them.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Maricopa County Court Docket or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, modified, distributed, or adapted without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim liability for damages arising from site use, inability to use the site, or reliance on information from a page or linked service.

10. Indemnification

The user agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, proceedings, and reasonable costs arising from that user's site use or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Arizona law governs these terms, and a dispute concerning site use must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Arizona. Judicial-record access itself is governed principally by Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123 and applicable Arizona court rules.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. A revision takes effect when the updated text is posted on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you look up a case or docket for me?

No. This private reference site has no access to a court's internal docket system. Use the official docket search or contact the proper clerk.

Can you change or confirm my court date?

No. Only the assigned court can set, move, cancel, or confirm a hearing. Check the court schedule and verify the date with that court.

Is a docket entry on a linked tool official?

No. A linked result can be incomplete or old. The official record comes from the court or clerk that keeps the case.

Where do I ask a question about these terms?

The Contact page explains the limited ways to reach this private site and routes official record needs to the courts.
